Love this and needed to read this after a night of rough sleep, which often tends to lead to feeling pretty bad. I’ve personally been trying to practice self-compassion, which I feel also brings me a sense of relief 🥲 ALSO I was at work last week and a few ladies came in saying there were in town for a conference, and apparently it was for Esther Hicks! What a synchronicity 🌀
Awwww!! Yes self compassion is definitely a form of relief 🥲 allowing yourself to have grace 🩷🪽 Where are you located anyways!?!?! and omg I went to one of her seminars in January 2024 and WHILE I was at her seminar my life story that I posted in a reel started going viral!!!! I have been wanting to go to another seminar but I am on Maui and she doesn’t come here :( but I may do a webinar one and we are moving this month so I plan to try and catch her live again!
We drove through NM and I LOOOOOVED the energy of NM!!! I remember really adoring it… She does come to Hawaii but only on her cruises! She doesn’t do 1 off seminars here. And I think we are moving to Nashville 🤠🩷🪽 I have this hunch about it that I can’t quite logically explain
I will! Well I think we are driving through when we go to TN! I will forsureeee reach out if we are passing through Santa Fe and you can get a meal with me zach and our doggieeee lol!
What if the thing you did or was done to you had such severe consequences to your quality of life and physical health that coming back from the error is extremely difficult? How do you maintain compassion for something that looks like great foolishness or preventable to avoid the intense and seemingly unending suffering?
Sometimes anger IS relief. Sometimes it causes more friction to move yourself into compassion when you feel like you physically can’t. I think emotions like anger are demonized but those feelings can also be powerful and actually healing. Anger is better than despair. I like to say - you can be in pain and suffer or you can be in pain and have hope. Sending my love 🩷
